RO e-Transport Reporting in Odoo by Sostenia
The Sostenia e-Transport module automates the reporting processes required by the RO e-Transport system, enabling much faster, easier, and more cost-effective compliance with legal obligations.
What is RO e-Transport system?
The RO e-Transport system monitors in real time the movement of goods with a high tax risk within Romania's territory. In other words, through RO e-Transport, the state will track not only the transport of high-risk local purchases but also all movements of tax-risk goods, including those merely transiting through Romania.
What is the UIT code?
Any transport operation involving goods that fall into certain categories must first be registered in the RO e-Transport system; subsequently, it will receive a unique UIT code automatically generated by the system.
The UIT code is the unique code generated by the RO e-Transport system, and it helps to identify the goods associated with each business relationship involving the carriage of high tax risk goods. The road transport operator is required to hold the physical or electronic UIT code for the whole duration of the transportation, as well as the accompanying documents for the carriage of high tax risk goods.
Necessary configurations for operation
At the product level, in the Inventory and E-transport tabs, the fields highlighted below must be completed. These can be added in bulk through file import.
Workflow
Forms for obtaining UIT codes can only be completed for transfers that are in the "Completed" stage.
At the transfer level, whether for delivery or transfer between warehouses, the "E-transport" tab appears.
The type of operation generates the necessary information for obtaining the UIT code.
The
connector automatically checks the minimum value and weight
conditions
currently required by law.
If you wish to issue a UIT code for
transports below
these thresholds, the desired situations should be selected as applicable.
For one of our clients, we developed an additional functionality to convert the value of an issued export order from euros to lei for submission to the Romanian authorities. When the checkbox below is selected, the connector will automatically convert the order value from euros to lei, using the BNR exchange rate from the day the form is created.
When the GENERATE DATA E-TRANSPORT button is pressed, the connector retrieves the necessary information to complete the form, groups the products in the order according to the categories identified at the product level, and calculates the total value and weight for each category as well as for the entire order.
The fields are editable in case corrections or additional
information are
needed.
For the
Intracommunity Delivery operation, the loading location is
automatically
populated with the address of the Commercial Declarant's contact,
but
it is
also editable if any additions are needed.
The customs office is filled in manually, and for transport documents, the invoice number corresponding to the delivery order (which must be issued before generating the e-transport form) is retrieved.
After all mandatory information has been completed, press the SEND TO ETRANSPORT button to generate the UIT code.
You will receive either the UIT code or an error message if all the necessary information has not been completed.
For the National Transfer operation, an additional field for the unloading location appears, and the address of the destination location's contact is automatically populated. This field is also editable if any additions are needed.
For the transport document, the transfer number for which the form is being completed is automatically sent (no invoice is required).
