POS Receipt Design
The POS Receipt Design app provides businesses with the flexibility to customize the appearance and layout of sales receipts generated in the Odoo POS system. It allows admins to create personalized, attractive, and branded receipts that align with their store's identity. Using simple XML code, admins can modify the design, including colors, fonts, and structure, directly from the backend, without requiring advanced technical skills. Each POS shop can have its unique receipt style, with options to select from pre-existing templates or create new ones. This helps improve customer perception, promotes store branding, and makes receipts more informative and engaging. Admins can easily set, modify, and manage receipt designs through the POS configuration settings, ensuring a consistent or customized look based on the store's needs.

POS Receipt Design Features
Customizable Receipt Layouts:
- Admins can design personalized receipts by editing XML code, allowing for colors, fonts, and layouts to match their brand identity or store theme.
Multiple Receipt Templates:
- Supports a list of default pre-made templates for quick setup, or allows creating new custom templates for unique branding.
Easy XML Code Editing:
- Modify the receipt layout directly in the backend by adding or updating XML code, no advanced technical knowledge required.
Enable/Disable Custom Designs:
- Admins can activate or deactivate custom receipt designs for each POS shop through configuration settings.
Shop-specific Design Settings:
- Admins can assign different receipt styles to each POS shop, enabling customized checkout experiences.
Seamless Design Management:
- Designs are easily set, modified, and applied, consistent or receipt appearance at each sale.
POS Receipt Design Workflow
- Navigate to Point of Sale -> Configuration -> Custom Receipt Design, and click on Custom Receipt Design in the backend.
- Displays a list of default templates, the admin can choose an existing template or create a new custom design from scratch.
- Admin modifies the receipt by editing the XML code directly in the backend.
- Go to Point of Sale -> Configuration -> Settings
- Admin assigns the desired receipt design to individual POS shops through backend settings.
- For each POS shop, the admin can enable/disable the custom receipt feature via configuration options.
- When a sale is completed, the POS system prints the receipt according to the assigned or customized layout.
- Admin can revisit and update receipt layouts in the backend at any time.

Receipt Design List
Navigate to POS -> Configuration -> Custom Receipt Design, click to open the section, and view the list of default receipt templates for quick selection.
Receipt Layout
Choose the default receipt design or customize your layout by editing the XML code in the backend. This allows for personalized and branded receipts.
Create New Receipt Design
Admins can create new custom receipt layouts directly within the receipt design backend page. This provides full control over personalized receipt customization.
POS Configuration Settings
Go to POS -> Configuration -> Settings, select the desired POS shop to customize its receipt design, and enable or disable the custom receipt feature as needed.
Choose Custom Receipt Design
Admin chooses the desired custom receipt design from the available options for the selected POS shop. This customizes the receipt appearance for that specific.
POS Dashboard
Select the specific shop from the POS dashboard.
POS Shopping Cart
The POS user adds products to the shopping cart for checkout. This process prepares items for payment and order completion.
POS Receipt Design 1
The chosen custom POS receipt design appears on the screen. It reflects the personalized layout set by the admin for that particular shop.

The POS receipt design is shown on the screen.

The POS receipt design appears on screen during transaction completion. It showcases the customized layout for customer printing.
