POS Share Cart With User
The POS Share Cart with User app is designed to enhance collaboration in retail environments using Odoo POS. It allows admin and POS employees to share shopping carts before completing payment, streamlining team workflows and boosting efficiency. With this app, first, products are added to the POS cart; then, the employee tab is used to initiate sharing. Clicking the share cart button, a message confirms successful sharing, and products automatically transfer to the employee's cart, displayed with the customer's name. The app also prevents sharing with no employee selected or with oneself by showing alerts, ensuring smooth and accurate team-based sales. Overall, this tool improves operational teamwork and speeds up sales processes.

POS Share Cart With User Features
Share Cart Functionality:
- POS employees can easily share their cart with another employee before final payment. After selecting products, they click the employee tab and open a wizard to choose a user. Once selected, the cart is transferred successfully to the other employee's POS.
Choose User Wizard:
- A user-friendly dialog displays user names and details, making it simple to pick the right employee for sharing. The employee's name appears on the POS screen in the employee tab for easy identification.
Customer Name Display:
- The customer's name appears in the employee's POS screen, providing clarity on who the sale is for.
Automatic Product Transfer:
- When shared, products move directly to the employee's cart, linked to the selected customer.
Prevent Self-Sharing:
- The Popup also warns if trying to share the cart with own account to avoid errors.
Alert on Missing Employee:
- A pop-up appears if sharing is attempted without selecting an employee.
Share Confirmation Message:
- After sharing, a success message confirms the cart transfer.
POS Share Cart With User Workflow
- Add Products to POS Cart.
- Click on the Employee Tab, open the Choose User Wizard, then select Employee for Sharing.
- Click on the Share Cart Button.
- Show Success Message.
- The products in the original cart are automatically added to the employee's cart, with the selected customer name displayed on the employee's POS screen.

Employee Tab
Add items to the cart, then click on the employee tab to select the employee for sharing.
Choose User Wizard
After clicking the employee tab, the user wizard appears, showing user details. Choose the employee to share the cart.
Share Cart Button
Once an employee is chosen, their name displays on the screen. Click the share cart button to share the cart with that employee.
Cart Share Successfully Popup
A message popup appears to indicate the cart sharing was successful with the selected employee.
Selected User Employee Cart
After sharing, the products are automatically added to the employee's cart. This smooth and quick order management.
Employee Not Selected Popup
When attempting to move forward without selecting an employee, a popup message appears. This helps prevent incomplete actions.
Sharing Not Allowed Popup
A popup appears to alert you that sharing the cart with your account is not allowed.
Select Customer
Select a customer name from the list.
Customer Name on Employee POS Screen
Once the customer is selected, their name is automatically displayed on the employee's POS screen. This clear identification of the customer for the ongoing transaction.
