HOW DOES IT WORK?
Integrate Whatsapp
Signup for Chat API account on https://app.chat-api.com/login
After login, copy 'Whatspp Instance Endpoint' and 'Whatsapp Token'.
Go to Odoo 'Settings' tab and insert 'Whatspp Instance Endpoint' and 'Whatsapp Token'
as shown the picture below and 'Save' it.
Assign User Permission
Go to Odoo 'Settings' tab and click 'Manage Users'.
Click on a user whom you would want to assign the 'Whatsapp Connector' app permission.
Go to Assign "Whatsapp Connector" Permission section and assign permission for the desired apps.
Send Whatsapp to a Contact
Select a contact and click on 'Send Whatsapp'
Compose Whatsapp message and attach a file if required. You may attach a PDF, MP3, MP4, JPEG or PNG file.
If you want to auto-add your signature at the end of the message, click 'Settings' tab from menu drop-down
and go to 'Whatsapp configuration' section. Turn-on 'Add Signature' here.
To change the signature template, first go to 'Preferences' under Profile.
Add/modify text under 'Email Signature'. The same text will be shown as your Whatsapp Signature.
Send Whataspp to Many Contacts
You may choose to send a message to multiple contacts, using 'Whatsapp Broadcast'.
To use this feature, select 'Whataspp Broadcast' from the menu drop down.
Click on 'Create' to design a Whatsapp Broadcast.
Choose contacts whom you want to send the Whatsapp to, under Broadcast List option.
Compose Whatsapp message and attach a file if required. You may attach a PDF, MP3, MP4, JPEG or PNG file.
Whataspp Connector for Sales, Inventory,
Purchase & Invoicing
Select Sales/Inventory/Purchase/Inventory app from menu drop-down and choose a
quotation to send it via Whatsapp.
Click on 'Send Whatsapp'
Compose Whatsapp message and attach a file if required. You may attach a PDF, MP3, MP4, JPEG or PNG file.
If you want Product Details and Order Information get auto-filled in this message, turn-on this feature.
In order to do this, go to 'Settings' from menu drop-down and go to 'Whatsapp Configuration' Tab.
Click on 'Add Product Detail' & 'Add Order Information' and save it.
Now that 'Add Product Detail' & 'Add Order Information' are turned-on,
the send whatsapp window will automatically show these details inside the compose box.
If you want logs of the messages to be shown in the Chatter, turn-on this feature.
In order to do this, go to 'Settings' from menu drop-down and go to 'Whatsapp Configuration' Tab.
Click on 'Add Logs' and save it.
Now that 'Add Logs' are turned-on, messages sent will be shown in the chatter.
