Advance Reference Search module in Odoo makes it much easier to find information across different parts of the system. It lets users search using specific fields in different modules like sales, inventory, or customer records. This helps users quickly find what they need without a lot of effort, making the system faster and easier to use.
Advance Search
Users can search across multiple modules for a comprehensive view of related data.
Field-Specific Search
The ability to select specific fields for searching enables more precise, targeted searches.
Reference Search Configuration
Under Settings > Users & Companies > Users menu user need to enable the "Reference Search" option to advance search.
Field Selection For Reference Searchbar
Under Settings > Technical > Models, the user needs to enable the "Reference Search" option for each field to search by that particular field.
Only selected fields visible in the reference search.
Data Search Limit Configuration
Under Settings, the user needs to enter the data search limit for Advance Search.

User can see the Reference Search option.
Select Fields Popup
User can select field to search.
Search by Field
Select field you want to search then user need to add search data and click on Search button to search by that particular data.
User can see that the data will be filtered by the reference search.

Warning / Validation
If user try to search data more than entered data search limit than validation error occurs.
