Multiple Branch Handling for Members Odoo App
Branch Members Management Odoo app makes it easy to manage which members can access information in different branches of a company. It lets you put members into specific branches, so they only work with the information relevant to their unit, while the company still has overall control. This is great for businesses with different departments or locations because it keeps each branch's data separate and secure. Regular members can only see and manage things in their own branch, but managers can see everything across all branches within the same company.
Multi Branch Concept
It allows you to create multiple Branch/Unit, Working as multi branch concept same as Odoo's multi company environment.
Set Branch On Membership
User can see branch functionality added to Membership.
Branch Access Rights
Users must be given branch access and enabled for "Multi Branches".
Create Multiple Branch
Settings > Users & Companies > Branch, Branch Admin can create branches and set details like address, phone, and company.
Assign Branch User
Branch administrator can assign a branch for which specific user is belongs.
Multi Branch Feature
Users with "Multi Branches" access rights can see and change multiple branch from header.
On clicking branch on header user can see allowed branches and can select one, on changing branch users branch will also changed under users settings.
Branch on Membership Products
Members > Configuration > Membership Products. From here, user can create a membership product. The branch auto-set to current branch.
The "Invalid Operation" error message, indicating that only the active branch should be selected to avoid multi-branch issues.
Member Details & Membership Management
In the Members module, users can manage member details. The Membership tab displays the current membership status and provides an option to purchase a membership using the Buy Membership button. Users can also enable the Free Member checkbox to get a free membership. The branch is automatically assigned based on the selected branch.
When the user clicks on Buy Membership, the Join Membership popup appears. This popup shows the selected membership details. Users can either click Invoice Membership to generate an invoice or select Cancel to exit the process.
The user can confirm the Membership Invoice by clicking the Confirm button. Once confirmed, the membership will be activated and linked to the customer.
Filter By Member
In the Members module, a Members filter is applied, displaying only members with a membership. This helps users quickly find and manage registered members.
Group by Branch
The Group By Branch feature allows users to view members based on their branch.
