POS - Point of Sale Age Restricted Product Odoo App helps users to manage age restricted products in POS. Users can add custom messages for customer eligible and not eligible. Users can enable age restricted checkbox on specific products and set customer minimum age, based on the age configuration product will be restricted for under age customers for that user can enter date of birth of customer and according to that, age will be calculated and show popup message according to customer age eligibility.
Add Age Configuration Message
User can add customer eligible message and customer not eligible message.
Set Customer Age
User can enable age restricted checkbox and set customer minimum age.
Calculate Customer Age based on DOB
Once user enter date of birth based on that age will be calculated automatically.
Display Custom Message
User can see custom message will be display according to age eligibility of customer.
Add Age Configuration Message
Under POS shop configuration, User can add custom messages for 'Customer Eligible Message' and 'Customer Not Eligible Message'.
Enable Age Restricted Checkbox and Set Customer Age
In product form under 'General Information' tab, User can enable 'Is Age Restricted' checkbox then set 'Customer Min Age' to restrict specific product.
Select Age Restricted Product in POS
Once customer set then select age restricted product in POS.
Age Restricted Product Wizard
In age restricted product wizard, If you click on 'YES' button then the product is moved to cart.
Age Restricted Product Wizard
In age restricted product wizard, If you click on 'NO' button then open Verification Popup to enter customer date of birth.

If you click on 'OK' button without set date of birth the warning raised.
Enter Customer Birthdate
Once set customer birthdate, It will automatically compute the age for verification of customer.
Customer Not Eligible Message Popup
If customer's age doesn't seems to be eligible to purchase this product then the product will not be allowed to purchase and display configured custom message.
Customer Eligible Message Popup
If customer's age seems to be eligible to purchase this product then the product moved to cart and display configured custom message.
Warning
If user select restricted product without selected customer, Warning raised.
