Odoo Carpooling

Carpooling is nowadays a way people use to share their transportation costs or to reduce fuel consumption and traffic. In order to provide a concert and safe solution for carpooling, an Odoo app has been proposed in this repo, which can be used and installed on the Odoo platform.

Problem domain

Carpooling app is a project for the 'Open Source Project' course taught by Prof. Yves Deville and Prof. Olivier Bonaventure at UClouvain. In this course, the students are asked to contribute to open-source projects. Odoo Carpooling app has been thus chosen as the project to satisfy the Odoo users for carpooling.

Some useful features:

    1. driver infoAdding extra driver information such as driver's vehicle, vehicle image, etc. in the user settings.
    2. carsharingr Sharing (Round) Trips through a booking system.
    3. booking Complex search and filtering.
    4. Comment Commenting on trips by trip passengers.

          

Contribution

Odoo Carpooling app is open to any contribution. Please feel free to fork the project Reposirty under branch 15.0 and extend it with more features.
