Advanced POS Receipt
The Advanced POS Receipt module for Odoo enhances the default POS receipt by adding customer details, invoice number, order reference number, barcode, QR code, custom footer text, and A4 size receipt printing — all integrated into a single module.

⚙️ Workflow
- Go to Settings → Point of Sale → Advanced POS Receipt.
- Enable Display Customer Details to print customer name and contact details on the POS receipt.
- Enable Display Order Reference to show the POS order reference number.
- Enable Display Invoice Number to print the related invoice number when available.
- Activate the Invoice button on the payment screen to generate and link the invoice.
- Select Receipt Code Type to display Barcode, QR Code, or both on the receipt.
- Enter a Custom Footer Text to display a thank you message or additional note.
- Enable A4 Size Receipt Printing to allow printing receipts in A4 paper format.
- On the receipt screen, click Print A4 Size Receipt to download the A4 format PDF.

1. Enable Display Customer Details
Navigate to POS settings and enable the “Display Customer Details” option to include customer name and contact information on receipts.
2. Customer Details Printed on Receipt
Once enabled, the customer’s name and contact details are successfully displayed on the POS receipt.
3. Enable Display Order Reference
Enable this option to print the unique POS order reference number on the receipt.
4. Order Reference Printed on Receipt
The POS order reference number is successfully displayed on the printed receipt.
5. Enable Display Invoice Number
Activate this setting to show the related invoice number on the POS receipt.
6. Enable Invoice Button on Payment Screen
Enable the Invoice button during payment to generate and link the invoice with the POS order.
7. Invoice Number Printed on Receipt
After invoice generation, the invoice number is automatically printed on the receipt.
8. Select Receipt Code Type
Choose whether to display a Barcode, QR Code, or both on the POS receipt.
9. Barcode and QR Code Displayed
The selected barcode and/or QR code are successfully printed on the receipt.
10. Enter Custom Footer Text
Add a custom footer message such as a thank you note to display at the bottom of the receipt.
11. Custom Footer Displayed on Receipt
The custom footer text is successfully printed at the bottom of the POS receipt.
12. Printable PDF Receipt with All Details
All configured details are also included in the printable PDF version of the receipt.
13. Enable A4 Size Receipt Printing
Activate this option to allow printing receipts in professional A4 paper format.
14. Print A4 Size Receipt Button
The “Print A4 Size Receipt” button appears on the receipt screen to generate the A4 format PDF.
15. Downloaded A4 Size Receipt PDF
This is the downloaded PDF version of the A4 size receipt.
