Create and Export Task from Website Portal

Create Task from Website Portal Odoo app allows your customers or portal users to create new
tasks directly from the website portal without needing backend access. This makes it quick and
easy for clients to submit requests, report issues, or add task details for ongoing projects.
Users can fill in all important task information like title, project, deadline, and description
right in the portal. Once submitted, the task is instantly created in your Odoo system and
visible in the portal task list. Customers can then track progress, view deadlines, and see task
statuses at any time.
In addition to creating tasks, portal users can export their assigned tasks into Excel format
for offline tracking, reporting, or sharing. The export includes detailed information such as
assigned person, stage, creation date, and priority, making it perfect for record-keeping or
client reports.
This app improves collaboration between your team and customers, ensuring clear communication,
better tracking, and more transparency for project tasks.

Create a task button on the website portal
The "Create" button, highlighted by a red arrow in the image, allows users to add new tasks within this web portal quickly. This feature task initiation is directly from the application's interface.

Specify task details and create task
The "Task Name" pop-up in the image allows users to specify task details such as name, project, date, and description. Once all necessary information is entered, the "Save" button will enable users to create task entries within the application.

As you can see in the image, a new task named 'RE-Colour1' has been successfully created and now appears in the task list on the website portal. This confirms that the task creation process was completed, and the new entry is visible and ready for further action.

View all the Task from here
From this 'My Account' page, you can easily access and view all your tasks. Just click on the 'Tasks' section, highlighted in red, to follow and comment on the tasks related to your projects, giving you a centralized place to manage your work.

Click On Export Task Button
Click on the 'Export Task' button, which you can see at the top right of the screen, indicated by the red arrow. This will allow you to export all the task data from the portal, likely into a spreadsheet format for external use or reporting.

Click On Export Button
This will finalize the export process, and the system will then generate a file containing all the tasks within the selected dates for you to download.

This is the Excel file containing all the exported task details. It provides a report of various tasks, neatly organized by project, allowing you to easily review information like who a task is assigned to, its current stage, creation date, and any deadlines or priorities, all in one convenient spreadsheet
