EDI Connector
Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) connector in Odoo v15.
Description
This Module is configured in order to allow Document sending and receiving automation in XML format
between Odoo
and an EDI Platform. It facilitates the transmission of business documents such as Purchase Orders,
ASNs, Invoices,
Inventory and more.
Functionality
Below are the screenshots for an overview of the module's functionality.
EDI documents are received or sent relative to a partner in Odoo.
The EDI tab on partner allows you to configure what is required for specific partners.

In the EDI app itself, you can set up flows based on the document
you need to send or receive. The EDI Translation Table Menu is where you will create your flow. It will
define the name, if it is incoming or outgoing, what model to use, the field mappings, etc.

The EDI document contains the information being transferred from
one system to another and is in XML format. An incoming document, once processed, will create a
corresponding document in Odoo. For outgoing documents, an EDI document with XML is created as a result
of an event in Odoo and must be transferred to its destination (e.g. FTP folder). The EDI Data Menu is
where you can find these documents and the status. When successful, the document is shown in the done
state. Both incoming and outgoing documents can be edited in Odoo. If the document is put in an
exception state, an exception message is given. You can manually set the document back to draft, modify
the content, and attempt to reprocess it.

HI
our module itselfs supports XML format. EDIFACT/ X12 is a different format. But we do support this in format with an extension. But it's not available in the store. Please be so kind and reach out to us via email and we can discuss further: apps@sodexis.com or kontakt@sodexis.com. Thanks
