Create Backup in Email Template

First of all, you must activate the Odoo developer mode to be able to access the Settings > Technical > Email templates screen.

Next, access the detail of an email template from the list view.

To save a backup copy of the email template, tap the "Create Backup" button available on the quick actions bar of the template form.

The system will request confirmation to create the backup copy of the template. To continue with the creation of the template, press the "Ok" button.

Restore Backup in Email Template

Once a backup copy of an email template has already been created, it is possible that modifications are made to the template and at some point it is necessary to recover the stored backup copy. To do this, click the "Restore Backup" button located in the quick action bar of the template detail form.

The system will request confirmation to restore the template with the last saved copy. To continue with the restoration of the template, press the "Ok" button.
