Product Image Import & Update with Zip
A module for import and update of product images using zip
Importing and Updating product images can be a very frustrating task. This module simplifies your task enabling your import and update process using many identifiers for the products. You can use either product internal reference, vendor product code, product name, vendor product name or barcode in order to import and update the product images and variant images with Zip.
A World class feature:
When you purchase product images from image vendors,
their Zip files/folders usually contains
alphanumeric characters besides product name.
Our module cover this special case with the feature option of
ignoring alphanumeric characters on product name while
importing and updating the product images using ZIP based on product name.
On Sales app, there is a setting option with boolean field,
section product catalogue, with default setting false
regarding the question if yes or no the alphanumeric characters should be ignored.
By false, the product image from ZIP file will only be imported/updated if
product name on Odoo system exactly matching with product name on ZIP file.
By true about ignoring alphanumeric character, if besides product name,
the ZIP file includes alphanumeric characters,
alphanumeric characters will be ignored and matching will still be
possible with product name on ZIP file.
