Overview

Website Index and Follow is an application which is used to maintain the Google search results. You can specify product-level settings by including a meta tag on HTML pages or in an HTTP header. The robots meta tag lets you utilize a granular, product-specific approach to controlling how an individual product should be indexed and served to users in Google Search results. Place the robots meta tag in the head section of a given page.

Features

User can enable "Indexed" in website.
"Indexed" enabling helps to show those products in google search as a Suggestion

An option 'Indexed' for Internal Users

Internal user can enable the checkbox 'Indexed' if they want to index the product

After Enabling The Option, Click View Page Source

A Meta tag will be added inside the Header tag

Internal user can enable the checkbox 'Indexed' if they want to index the product

If 'Indexed' is Unchecked

View Page Source After Disabling 'Indexed'

Another Meta tag will be added to the Header tag

Portal User and Public Users has NO ACCESS to the 'Indexed' Checkbox

I downloaded the app for version 15 EE and even though is does set no index to the products its sets all pages of the website as no index by default. The main page gets the noindex meta for example. I would recomend to set index follow by default and then noindex to the selected ones
