Restrict Products in Purchase Order for Some Users
If you want to restrict some users from purchasing products belonging to specific product categories, this module allows you to control it through user groups.
A new field named "Groups" is added on the product category form where you can define which user groups are allowed to buy products of that category.
Users who are not in the allowed groups will not be able to add those products to a purchase order and will get a clear error message.
This helps you enforce purchasing policies and makes sure that only authorized users can create purchase orders for restricted product categories.
Add Allowed User Groups on Product Category
On the product category form you can specify one or more user groups in the "Groups" field. Only users who belong to at least one of these groups will be allowed to purchase products from that category in purchase orders. This allows you to centrally control which teams or roles are allowed to buy certain items.
Purchasing Restricted Product
When a user who does not belong to the allowed group defined on the product category tries to add a product from that category into a purchase order, the system blocks the action and shows a validation message. In this way, the module ensures that restricted products cannot be purchased by unauthorized users and your purchasing rules are strictly followed.
