Journal Restrictions

Control Accounting Journals access

Who can view, edit, or create new records on any journal.

Features:

  1. Control who will have full access to all journals.
  2. Control who will have restricted access to the journals.
  3. Determine the accessed journals for the restricted users.
  4. The restriction is applied to records in menus: invoices, bills, journal entries/items, payment, and expense reports...
  5. Also, the restriction is applied to the dashboard and journals menu in configurations.
  6. The restriction is applicable to all journal types.
  7. The restriction is applicable on a multi-companies database.

Activation:

  • Once the module is installed, the restriction will be applied by default to all users.
  • The users who will have full access, will be added to the group (Disable Journal Restrictions).
  • The group (Disable Journal Restrictions) will be automatically inherited to group (Administration / Access Rights).
  • Restricted users who are not in group (Disable Journal Restrictions) will see only their allowed journals.
  • To give access on a journal to any user, it must be added to the (Allowed Users) tab on the journal form view.
