Journal Restrictions
Control Accounting Journals access
Who can view, edit, or create new records on any journal.
Features:
- Control who will have full access to all journals.
- Control who will have restricted access to the journals.
- Determine the accessed journals for the restricted users.
- The restriction is applied to records in menus: invoices, bills, journal entries/items, payment, and expense reports...
- Also, the restriction is applied to the dashboard and journals menu in configurations.
- The restriction is applicable to all journal types.
- The restriction is applicable on a multi-companies database.

Activation:
- Once the module is installed, the restriction will be applied by default to all users.
- The users who will have full access, will be added to the group (Disable Journal Restrictions).
- The group (Disable Journal Restrictions) will be automatically inherited to group (Administration / Access Rights).
- Restricted users who are not in group (Disable Journal Restrictions) will see only their allowed journals.
- To give access on a journal to any user, it must be added to the (Allowed Users) tab on the journal form view.
