The purpose of this module is to provide an alternative way to send emails in Odoo, which allows email tracking. The benefit of email tracking is that you can tell when any email you send is delivered, opened, or failed (and the reason for failing). This helps keep peace of mind when sending important emails to ensure they have been received. Additionally, you can view your deliverability rates, which gives a great insight for email analytics.
- Blue: Opened email
- Green: Sent email
- Orange: Partially sent email (Multiple recipients have been sent email but only some have received it)
- Red: Failed to send email
To use this module, you will need to upgrade to Mailgun's premium service!
Only tested on Odoo Community Edition
Chatter Icons & Wizards
When sending an email from that chatter which has the setting 'auto delete' set to false, it will display an icon relating to what stage the email is in.
Then when clicking on the icon, it will open the corresponding wizard, as seen below.
