Cash discount in Point of Sale(Global)
This module allows us to get the cash discount option in Point of sales module. Using this we will be able to provide the cash discount as global. This facilitates users easiness in billing. The cash discount is most awaited feature in case of point of sales in odoo. As this point of sale is a place where the walkin customer sale is happening. With easy and fast configuration we will get the benefit of this module.

Overview
Point of sale is an application in facilitates easy and quick billing. It requires cash discount to be provided to the customers for bills as global. As odoo default we cannot provide cash discount.This module allows us to get the cash discount option in Point of sales module. Using this we will be able to provide the cash discount as global
Configuration and Features
- Simple steps are there to follow , to enable and work with Cash discount in POS

Configuration
Additional configuration required in the Point of Sale settings. Under the pricing option check the Global Cash Discount option.

Set a discount product and set a temporary value of amount discount that can be changed while processing a pos order

When you open a new session in Point of Sale. You will find an option for Cash discount.

After adding the required items into the cart, you can click on the Cash Discount option and you can give the cash discount required

The cash discount provided will be listed as a line item in the cart

As normal the amount as cash will be deducted and you can process the order. The discount will be added as a line item in the default print

When you close the session or when you open an order in point of sale with discount there also it will be displayed as a line item in the order
