B2B or B2C in e-Commerce per Customer

Display B2B or B2C taxes on the website based on the Customer.

Key Highlights

Decide on B2B or B2C per main customer

Depending on the customer's setting, taxes will be correct. It's done on the main contact, not per subcontact.

Keep a default Tax setting.

By default, customers will follow the standard setting in the website settings.

Less than 100 lines of code - very lean app.

We did a small and smart adjustment which works throughout the whole website.

Community & Enterprise Support.

Available in Odoo 17.0 Community, Enterprise and Odoo.sh.

Set your default tax setting on the website settings (this is Odoo standard, we just point out that it can be adjusted on the contact.)

Adjust the tax setting per customer.

Make sure you show the VAT indication (Odoo standard feature).

That's it! You will now see the customer specific tax (B2C or B2B).

Let's test without VAT.

The same thing goes without VAT.

The shopping cart also knows what's going on.
