MRP Planning Analytic Subcontracting

The “MRP Planning Engine Subcontracting” module enhances the OpenValue MRP Planning Engine solution by implementing a subcontracting replenishment process based on the quantity shortage calculated by MRP planning engine.

Stock Subcontracting Replenishment order

A new business transaction is available to request subcontracting replenishment location: Stock Subcontracting Replenishment order.

By confirming it, a delivery transfer is created to fulfill the subcontracting location.

Reporting is available for comparing planned qty with actual delivery qty over the time.

Planning Engine Subcontracting List

The “MRP planning engine subcontracting list” display the projected stock on subcontracting location over the time for all relevant subcontracting components.

Subcontracting component requirements are relevant for confirmed purchase orders only.

Replenishment can be performed by entering the replenishment horizon days parameter: in case of quantity shortage in the replenishment horizon the subcontracting replenishment is performed; that means, in case a draft Stock Subcontracting Replenishment order exists in the replenishment horizon, replenishment items are added to it, otherwise a new Stock Subcontracting Replenishment order is created.
