Built to handle high-volume data pipelines, making it suitable for large-scale business operations.
Business Benefits
Fabric as Your Central Data Hub
With this connector, Odoo data flows directly into Microsoft Fabric, where it joins data from your other systems (ERP, CRM, HR, Finance). Fabric becomes your single source of truth—powering AI copilots, semantic models, and large-scale analytics without the silos of separate tools.
Advanced Analytics Without Limits
- Run advanced SQL across millions of records.
- Apply AI/ML for forecasting, anomaly detection, and customer insights.
- Build predictive analytics for sales, finance, and operations.
- Feed data into Power BI dashboards for near real-time decisions.
Faster, Smarter Decisions
Fabric’s Lakehouse + Warehouse architecture scales automatically with your data—delivering the performance, flexibility, and intelligence required for modern analytics.
One Connector - All Fabric Destinations
A single pipeline can fan out to multiple Fabric targets so different teams get the right format where they work—Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics.
| Destination | What You Get | Typical Users |
|---|---|---|
| Lakehouse | Raw/bronze Odoo tables in Delta/Parquet, partitioned for cost-efficient storage and scalable processing. | Data Engineers, Scientists |
| Warehouse | Curated, modeled tables for reporting and governed self-service analytics. | Analytics Engineers |
| Power BI | Ready-to-connect semantic models and datasets for dashboards and KPI tracking. | BI Analysts, Business Users |

FAQ:
Q: Does it work only for Copy Jobs, or is it also compatible with Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen 2, and Dataflows Gen 1?
A: The module currently works only for Copy Jobs in Microsoft Fabric.
Q: Will it work if our destination data warehouse is Azure SQL instead of a Fabric Lakehouse or Data Warehouse?
A: Yes — the module works perfectly if your destination is Azure SQL Database instead of a Fabric Lakehouse or Data Warehouse. You can configure the connection directly in the Copy Job.
Q: What happens if the schema changes while performing an incremental/UPSERT copy?
A: The schema remains consistent throughout the transfer. The Copy Job uses the structure defined in the Odoo model at the time of configuration. If the Odoo model schema changes later, you’ll need to refresh or recreate the Copy Job for those new fields to reflect.
Q: Is the module purchased through a one-time payment, or does it require a subscription?
A: The module is sold as a one-time purchase — there are no recurring subscription fees.
Q: If Odoo releases new versions, are free upgrades for the module included?
A: If Odoo releases a new version, the upgraded version of the module will be offered as a paid update to ensure full compatibility and support.
Q: Does the module’s process serve only an informational purpose, or does it also perform automatic actions within the system?
A: The module’s main function is to send data from Odoo to Microsoft Fabric via APIs. It operates purely as a data synchronization and transfer tool, without triggering automatic actions or workflow changes within your Odoo system.
Q: Is it possible to schedule the module to run only during specific hours?
A: Yes — it is possible to schedule the module to run automatically during specific hours.
Q: What is the module’s resource consumption level (CPU, memory, etc.) within Odoo?
A: The module’s resource usage (CPU and memory) depends on the volume of data in the selected models. For typical use cases, it consumes minimal system resources and does not affect overall Odoo performance. It only utilizes memory during the data transfer process and releases it once the operation completes.
Q: Can the module run in parallel without interfering with the current system in use?
A: Yes — the module runs in parallel without interfering with your ongoing operations or existing system processes.
Q: Can the connector extract both standard (default) fields from Odoo and custom fields created in our modules?
A: Yes — it can extract both standard fields and custom fields. It connects directly to your Odoo models; custom fields appear in the model metadata and can be included like any default field.
Q: Is the extraction incremental (only changes since the last load) or always full loads?
A: Our solution currently performs full dataset extracts every time.
Q: Does the connector deliver data into a Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, or Dataset within Fabric?
A: Yes — it lands data into a Fabric Lakehouse. From there, you can push curated tables into a Fabric Warehouse for structured, SQL-friendly reporting. Extra: We also have a Power BI connector that can send a dataset to Power BI Service.
Q: How flexible is modeling tables and relationships to integrate Odoo with other systems in Fabric?
A: Once data is in the Lakehouse/Warehouse, you have full freedom to design relational models, build star schemas, and join with other systems. The connector typically extracts raw Odoo tables; business modeling happens inside Fabric.
Q: What update modes are supported — manual, scheduled, or near real-time?
A: The connector supports both manual (on-demand) runs and scheduled updates (e.g., every few hours).
Q: Can we configure which Odoo entities/tables are synchronized?
A:
Yes — you can choose the Odoo models/entities to extract (e.g., res.partner, sale.order, account.move). You can send any table’s data from Odoo to Fabric.
Q: Are there any known technical constraints (e.g., max data volume, expected latency)?
A: Performance depends on:
- Data volume — more rows/columns = more time.
- Odoo server speed — how fast each page of data is returned.
- Network throughput — bandwidth and latency between Odoo and Fabric.
- Fabric capacity — higher F-units load/write faster.
Q: Are there dependencies on specific Odoo versions or configuration requirements?
A: Standard requirements apply: valid Odoo credentials with read access to the selected models and appropriate permissions. Custom fields must be defined on the model. Exact version nuances depend on your deployment; we can confirm compatibility during setup.
