Configuration

Steps to Set Up in Google

Sign in with your Google Account. To Generate Google Calendar API Credentials, go to Google API platform
     https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard

Google Calendar Client Credential and API Configuration

User have to create a NEW PROJECT from Google Cloud Platform

Add a Project name and click on "CREATE" button

User have to navigate to "APIs and services" and click on "Enabled APIs and services".

Then click on "ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES".

Search For Google Calendar API

Enable Google Calendar API

Search for "Google Calendar API", Open and click "ENABLE" to use.

CREATE CREDENTIALS

Create Credentials for Google Calendar API

Select "Google Calendar API" as API and "User data" as data accessing and click "NEXT"

Create App Information.

Skip the Scopes

Select "Web application" as Application type and enter Name, Click "Add URL" under "Authorized redirect URIs" and enter your URI.

Authorized redirect URl is "http://localhost:8016".User need to change "http://localhost:8016" by his/her odoo instance. and give /google_meet_authentication at last of the Authorized redirect URl.

Google Calendar API Credential

On clicking "CREATE" button user will get "Client ID" and "Client secret" key for Google Calendar Api.

Create API KEY

On clicking "CREATE CREDENTIALS" button , Select API Key.

Publish App

On clicking "OAUTH Consent Screen" button , Click PUBLISH APP

Go to Settings-> Google Calendar. Add Client ID and Client Secret , Then save.

Go to Settings-> Users & Companies Then click on the Company name and select the Google Meeting tab. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret and Authorized redirect URIs in Credentials.
After entering all the details click on AUTHENTICATE.

After successful Authentication, now you can create Google Meetings to your Odoo Calendar.

When the Google Meet checkbox is enabled, A Google meeting link is generated.

By clicking the JOIN MEETING Button, you can also join a Google Meeting.

After you've created the meeting, you can view it in Google Calendar.

Email the meeting information to all event participants

Disable the Google Meet checkbox to delete the meeting.

From Google Calendar also, the Meeting has been removed.
