List View
List View allows users to customize the product views in Odoo, focusing on the Point of Sale (POS). Its function is to integrate specialized auto parts fields (such as Compatibility and Localization) directly into the sales interface, making critical information immediately visible to the salesperson. This optimizes speed and accuracy when selecting products in the POS.
Sales Control: Auto Parts Data in Your List
The "Change view (Grid/List)" option allows the salesperson to instantly switch from the standard view (Grid) to the List format. This change is fundamental because the List View activates and displays all the specialized auto parts fields (Compatibility, Localization, Brand), enabling ultra-fast verification of the correct part on the sales screen.
POS Configuration: Define Your Sales Interface
This configuration screen, accessible when editing the Point of Sale (PoS) session, allows administrators to persistently define the view type for the front-end: Grid View or List View. Most importantly, it is here that you control exactly which specialized auto parts fields (Brand, Vehicle, Localization, Equivalencies, etc.) will be displayed in the list format, ensuring that every sales session is optimized for accuracy and efficiency.
