PayNow integration for POS

Use PayNow payment method in POS

Key features:
  • Allows using online payment via PayNow
  • Use PayNow in POS

PayNow configuration

  • Follow configuration instructions from PayNow Payment Acquirer base module.

Odoo configuration

  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] → Point of Sale → Configuration → Payment methods;
  • Create payment method;
  • Name: PayNow;
  • Xfers Paynow Acquirer: choose existing record
  • Payment Process: Show QR on screen / Show QR on screen and receipt / Show QR on reseipt;

  • Save;
  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] → Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale;
  • Choose POS, where you want to add PayNow payment method;
  • Add PayNow record to "Payment methods" section;

Usage

  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] → Point of Sale;
  • Open POS with PayNow payment method;
  • Add products and click on "Payment" button:

  • Click on "PayNow" button, click "Validate"
  • RESULT: Popup will appear;
  • Scan QR code to validate payment.

Configuration

  • Follow configuration instructions from itp_payment_paynow module
  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] -> Point of Sale -> Configuration -> Payment methods
  • Create payment method
    • Name: PayNow
    • Paynow Acquirer: choose existing record
    • Payment Process: Show QR on screen
  • Save
  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] -> Point of Sale -> Configuration -> Point of Sale
  • Choose POS, where you want to add PayNow payment method
  • Add PayNow record to "Payment methods" section
  • Save

Usage

  • Go to [[ Main menu ]] -> Point of Sale
  • Open POS with PayNow payment method
  • Add products and click on "Payment" button
  • Click on "PayNow" button, click "Validate"
  • RESULT: Popup will appear
  • Scan QR code to validate payment
  • RESULT: order is validated, you will see receipt screen
