Pos Product Performance Report


This module helps generate a product sales performance report for the Point of Sale module in Excel Format. With this module you can generate a sales performance report for one or more products specifically or for all the products of one or more shops.

A product performance report contains the sales detail of products such as the quantity sold per day/month, the revenue that a product has generated and other info of products for a given date range.


How It Works

This module adds a menu named `Product Performance Report` under Point Of Sale -> Reporting menu that will open up a modal/wizard which helps generate the `point of sale product performance report`.
When You click on the `Product Performance Report` menu a modal will open up that has the following fields:

  1. Start Date: the start date of evaluating the sales performance of one or more products
  2. End Date: the end date of evaluating the sales performance of one or more products
  3. Products: Select the product(s) for which you want to generate a product performance report.
  4. Pos Config: the pos config(s) for which you want to generate a product performance report

Note: To generate a report for specific products select the products individually in the products field

Upon clicking the Print button an excel file will be download that will have the performance data for all the products according to the selected criteria (from the wizard) including:

  1. Product Name & Product Code
  2. Stock On Hand
  3. Unit Price
  4. Item Cost per unit
  5. Quantity Sold
    6. Discounts Applied (the calculated amount of currency based on the percentage of discount applied)
  6. The date of the first sale in the range
  7. The date of the last sale in the range
  8. The Average number of items sold per day in the selected range
  9. The Projected Average number of items sold for 30 days based off of the selected range
  10. Subtotal (this is the total for all the quantities of a single product)
  11. The Profit made

The total for all the products is shown after listing all the products.
