Scan Product Serial No or Barcode in Sale Order
Overview
This module allows to add order line in sale order using scan barcode or scan serial no in sale order form view.
Features
- Add sale order line based on product barcode scannig or product serial-no scanning.
- Configuration to add sale order line based on scanning with quantity and without quantity.
- Configuration to add serial-no in invoice and invoice report, when invoice created from sale order.
- Serial-no added in sale order and sale order report
How It Works
Added lot-serial no for product drawer and added barcode for product storage box.
Barcode scanning configuration in sales.
- configure 'Serial No' to add so line based on serial no scanning or configure 'barcode' to add so line based on barcode scanning in scan product with configuration.
- Enable 'scan product with quantity' to add so line with quantity based on scanning else so line added with 1 quantity based on scanning.
- Enable 'pass serial no to invoice' for auto add serial no in invoice and invoice report when invoice created from sale order.
- Click on 'Download Barcodes' for download PDF of 'SAVE-AND-CLOSE' and 'SAVE-AND-NEW' barcodes.
Barcodes PDF download after click on 'Download Barcodes' from Barcode Scanning configuration.
Scan globally in sale order form view to add order line.
- Will scan 'Serial No' here because serial no is configured in 'Scan Product With' configuration.
'Scan product' wizard open to add quantity after scanning done from Sale form view if 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration is enable.
- Scanned value auto added in serial no.
- scan globally 'SAVE-AND-CLOSE' barcode or click 'Save and Close' button to add order line and close wizard.
- scan globally 'SAVE-AND-NEW' barcode or click 'Save and New' button to add order line and open wizard again to add order line again.(This time the barcode value is not add auto)
On trigger 'Save and Close' Order line added based on scanned Serial No and added quantity.
- Serial No added in sale order line.
Validation raised when scaned wrong serial no.
'Barcode' configured in 'Scan Product With' configuration and disable 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration.
Scan globally in sale order form view to add order line.
- Will scan 'Barcode' here because barcode is configured in 'Scan Product With' configuration.
Order line added directly based on scanned barcode after scanning done in so form view.
- Here order line added directly with 1 quantity without open 'scan product' wizard because 'Scan Product with Quantity' configuration is disable.
Validation raised when scaned wrong barcode.
Click on scan button for open 'scan product' wizard.
Wizard open after click 'scan' button, Add barcode and quantity detail and scan or click any action of 'Save and Close' & 'Save and New' to add order line as explain before.
- Here label shown as 'Barcode' because barcode configured in 'Scan Product With' configuration if 'Serial No' is configured then label will shown as 'Serial No'.
Serial no added in sale order report.
Serial no added in invoice when invoice is created from sale order .
- Serial no add in invoice and invoice report only when enable 'Pass serial no to Invoice' configuration.
Serial no added in invoice report.
Hide 'scan' button and global scanning is deactivate when sale order is 'Locked' or sale order in 'Cancelled' state.
