The manufacturing orders interface offers four distinct tabs delineating cost analysis: material cost, labor cost, overhead cost, and overall costing.
The material cost tab specifically calculates the expenses associated with materials utilized in the production process of the respective product or order. A detailed breakdown of the material cost computation will be provided subsequently.
Product: Upon clicking the save button, products entered within the "Components" tab will seamlessly populate the material cost tab.
Planned Qty: Dynamically retrieves data from the "to consume" column within the "Components" tab.
Cost/Unit: References the cost price of the respective product, obtainable from the product profile.
Total Cost: Computed by multiplying the planned quantity by the cost per unit.
For instance, considering the example provided, with a planned quantity of 1 and a cost per unit of 50 for the product "Screw," .
Total Cost = 1*50
The total cost would amount to 50.
Similar computations are applied across all products, ensuring accurate cost evaluations, such as the total cost for the product "Bolt," which in this scenario would equate to 100.
Total Material Cost: It is the sum of all the values in "total cost" column
Availability of Labour Cost in Manufacturing order.
The purpose of labor cost is to estimate, control, and allocate expenses related to employing workers.
Enable the Work Order in Manufacturing -> Configuration -> Setting -> Work Order
Operation: Upon clicking the save button, operations entered within the "Work order" tab will seamlessly populate the labour cost tab.
Work center: Fetch the work center for the operation in work order tab
Planned Duration in Minutes: Dynamically retrieves data from the "Expected Duration" column within the "Work Order" tab.
Cost/Unit: References the employee hourly cost of the respective work center.
Employee Capacity : Get the employee capacity from operation.
Total Cost: Computed by multiplying the "Employee Capacity * Cost/Hour * Real Duration".
For instance, considering the example provided, with a Employee Capacity of 1 ,a cost per hour of 20 for the operation "Machine" and a real duration of 00:29 seconds.
Total Cost = 1*20*00:29
The total labour cost would amount to 0.17.
Availability of Overhead Cost in Manufacturing order.
Overhead cost is to account for indirect expenses associated with production facilities and support services.
Operation: Operations entered within the "Work order" tab will seamlessly populate the Overhead cost tab.
Work center: Fetch the work center for the operation in work order tab
Planned Duration in Minutes: Dynamically retrieves data from the "Expected Duration" column within the "Work Order" tab.
Cost/Unit: It will fetch and add the cost of power cost, indirect employee cost, utilization cost, rent, depreciation cost, interest and maintenance cost price for cost/hour in each work center.
Total Cost: Computed by multiplying the "Cost/Hour * Real Duration".
For instance, considering the example provided, with a cost per hour of 70 for the operation "Machine" and the real duration of 00:29 seconds.
Total Cost = 70*00:29
The total cost would amount to 0.58.
Availability of Overall Cost in Manufacturing order
It will get the total of Material cost, Labour cost and Overhead cost.
Availability of Mrp Costing Report in Reporting of Manufacturing order.
It displays the records of manufacturing order which is done and cancelled.
