Invoice Stock Moves
Move Stock From the Invoice
Odoo normally moves inventory from sales orders or purchase orders. This module adds a controlled stock flow on accounting documents, so a posted invoice can create the correct delivery, receipt, return, or vendor refund transfer with the invoice number as the source document.
Invoice to Delivery
Customer invoices create outgoing deliveries from stock to the customer.
Bill to Receipt
Vendor bills create incoming receipts from the vendor into stock.
Credit Note Returns
Customer credit notes bring goods back into stock.
Vendor Refunds
Vendor refunds send goods back out to the supplier.
Smart Button Link
Open the generated picking directly from the invoice.
Core Odoo Only
Built on standard Accounting and Inventory models.
Four Simple Steps
Tick the option, confirm the document, and follow the picking.Create Invoice
Add storable products to an invoice, bill, credit note, or refund.
Enable Stock Moves
Use the Picking section in the Other Info tab.
Post Document
Confirm the invoice and approve stock transfer creation.
Open Picking
Use the Delivery smart button to check the generated transfer.
Invoice to Picking Flow
Clear stock movement from the accounting document to the warehouse transfer.
Important Notes
The module moves only storable products. Services, sections, and notes do not create stock moves. When stock is available, the transfer can be reserved and completed automatically. When stock is not available, the picking stays Ready or Waiting for normal warehouse processing.
