Split Product Template Variant

Select Attribute for Splitting: The user can select an attribute (like 'Color', 'Size') to split the product variants. This is done through a confirmation wizard where the user chooses which attribute will be used for splitting.

Create New Product Templates: For each value of the selected attribute, a new product template is created. The new templates will retain the product variants relevant to that value.

Naming of New Product Templates: The newly created product templates will have names based on the original product name, followed by the attribute value.

Handling Original Product Template: The first attribute value (e.g., 'Red') remains in the original product template, and the original template is renamed to reflect that attribute value.

How to Install

Step 1: Install the Split Product Template Variant module.
How to Use

Step-2: Go to the Sales->Products-> Select a Product with variants and check "Attributes and Variants" page.

Step 3: Here click on "Actions" button and select "Split product variants".

Step 4: A wizard will open up. Here in "Attribute to split by" select the attribute by which you want to split the product.(e.g. Color). Then click on Confirm

Step 5: After clicking on confirm the product has been split. You can check by searching the product. It will be splitted by the variant you selected.

Step 6: Check by viewing the product.

Split Product Template Variant
The Split Product Template Variant is an Odoo Module ehich allows splitting product variants based on a selected attribute in Odoo. Users can choose an attribute (e.g., 'Color', 'Size'),and the system will create separate product templates for each attribute's value (e.g., 'Red', 'Blue'). The new product templates will be named based on the original product name followed by the selected attribute value (e.g., 'T-shirt - Red').
Configuration
Go to the Odoo Apps and find the “Split Product Template Variant” module then Install it.
Usage
Step 1: Install the Split Product Template Variant module.
Step-2: Go to the Sales->Products-> Select a Product with variants and check "Attributes and Variants" page.
Step 3: Here click on "Actions" button and select "Split product variants".
Step 4: A wizard will open up. Here in "Attribute to split by" select the attribute by which you want to split the product.(e.g. Color). Then click on Confirm
