What it does
This module complements and modifies the Project module rights to better suit management and collaboration.
Key Features
Modify the Project module permissions to the new set of permissions as follows:
- Internal user without rights on Project module (as Employee):
- Can view the Project root menu entry;
- Can view projects whose tasks are assigned to them to track;
- Cannot create/edit/delete tasks but can change the Kanban state of the Task.
- Project/User:
- Can do everything with the projects to which they are assigned as the project manager if granted full permission by the Project Administrator;
- Can do everything with the tasks inside the project to which they are assigned as the project manager;
- As for other projects and tasks, they will have the same access rights as the other internal users.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_project_access.
- Press Install.

After installing the module, you will see a change in access rights on the Access rights group of the Project app as follows:
For internal users without Project rights
1. Internal users can see the Project menu:
By default, when Internal users are not authorized to Project, they will not see this App on the overview view of system. After installing this module, users will always see the Project menu.
2. Internal users can see the Projects containing the Tasks they are assigned to track:
Users will always see Projects contains Tasks that are assigned to track, regardless of privacy of the Project.
3. Change the Kanban state of the Task:
Users will not be able to add, edit, delete, create Tasks but can change the Kanban state of Tasks, regardless of following Project/Task or not.
Note: Users can change the state of Tasks that are not assigned.
For internal users with Project/User rights group
1. Internal users can create the Projects:
- Users can create their own Projects.
- Users can create, edit and delete their Tasks.
2. Internal users have full authority over the Projects and Tasks that I am assigned to be the Project Manager:
After installing the module, the Grant Full Access Rights field appears on the Project view, allowing Project Manager to have full rights to the Project and its Tasks as follows:
- Edit the details in the Project.
- Archive Project: Archive all Projects including Projects with Tasks and Projects without Tasks.
- Delete Project: Delete only Projects that do not contain Tasks. When you delete Projects with Tasks, those Projects are not lost but moved to an archived state.
For internal users with Project/Administrator rights group
This module does not change the default rights for internal users with the Project/Administrator rights group.
