Odoo 15: Allow IP to Login (Community)
User can login into Odoo from allowed IP addresses.
Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo community edition but not tested in Enterprise edition. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.
This module will work where server is being access with IP like '127.0.0.1:8069' address and will not work with domain name like 'www.domain_name.com'.
Features
- User will only be able to log-in from allowed IP addresses(If IP is set for that specific user).
- User will be able to log-in from anywhere in the network(If no IP is set for that specific user).
How to use
- User will only be able to log-in from allowed IP addresses(If IP is set for that specific user).
- To access 'Allow IPs' menu 'Activate the developer mode' and goto Settings -> Technical -> Parameters -> Allow IPs Menu.
- Allow IPs menu can be used to provide same IP Access rights to multiple users.
- The color of IP tags selected in user form can be changed from Allow IPs form.
- In user form you can click on IP tag to change its color.
