Chatter Position

Configurable Chatter Position. Change Chatter Position in User Preferences. Change Chatter Position on the fly. Supports Both Community & Enterprise Edition.

Usage

  1. There’s a Chatter Position option in User Preferences, where you can choose between “bottom” and “sided”.
  2. The position can also be changed on the fly using a new button on the top left side of Form Views.

Known issues / Roadmap

  • This module implements the same feature as web_responsive. Once the enterprise interface is moved to community in version 16, only this module will be needed.

Good morning,
During the installation of the module under V15, I have an error, can you help me to understand it? Error :

Error while importing module 'web_chatter_position'. while parsing /tmp/tmplq7fohsu/web_chatter_position/views/res_users.xml:3 Error while validating view near: Field "chatter_position" does not exist in model "res.users" View error context: {'file': '/tmp/tmplq7fohsu/web_chatter_position/views/res_users.xml', 'line': 3, 'name': 'view.users.form.simple.modif.chatter.position', 'view': ir.ui.view(1437,), 'view.model': 'res.users', 'view.parent': ir.ui.view(171,), 'xmlid': 'view_users_form_simple_modif_chatter_position'} Make sure those modules are installed and try again.
