Odoo Website Page History
Track and restore website pages.
Using this module you can maintain collaborative website management. This module is also helpful when your webpage updated accidentally.

The "webpage_revision" module in Odoo by EKIKA is designed to facilitate website page restore and history which allows manager to enable collaborative webpage maintanance using CMS. It offers features that track changes, manage revisions, and ensure that all collaborators update history. Ideal for teams looking to for streamline their development process and make authorized allocation.
Key Features:
- Tracking Edits with User Details:
- The module logs every edit made to a webpage, recording the editor's name and the exact timestamp of the modification.
- Revision History:
- Editor: Shows the name of the user who made the last edit to a webpage.
- Page View: Indicates which specific webpage (e.g., home) was modified.
- Website: Displays the website on which the changes were made, useful for managing multi-website setups.
- Timestamp: Displays the date and time when the edit was made.
- Restore Functionality:
- Users can easily revert to a previous version of the webpage by clicking the Restore button, ensuring that any unwanted changes can be undone.
A dedicated menu option, "Web Page Revision," provides users with a clear overview of recent changes on the specific webpage. The information is displayed with the following key fields:
The Website module's navbar displays a 'Manage Pages' option
under the Pages menu.

Here, you'll see the two options, Revisions & Page Updates.

After making an edit, the 'Webpage Revision History' page displays
one entry for the change. It will track on-going changes so eventually you will have full history of edits.

After adding some content after the banner.

Now, the 'Webpage Revision History' shows the latest changes has been made. The 'Restore' button allowing users to revert to a previous version of the webpage.

After restoring the previous version, the content that was added has been deleted.
