Setup Instructions
QuickBooks Configuration
Go to Settings -> Accounting. Select Package in Fiscal Localization as depicted in the screenshot. Once selected, click Save.
QuickBooks Connector
Click on the QuickBooks Connector.
Get QuickBooks API Keys
(In QuickBooks) Go to Intuit Developer App -> Keys & Credentials and copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
Build Connection
Paste your Client ID and Client Secret in Odoo and click on Build Connection.
Paste Redirect URL
(In QuickBooks) Paste the copied redirect URL in the highlighted field in your Intuit Developer App.
Authorization Success
Upon successful authorization, you will see the success page.
Odoo Configuration
Enable the toggle on the data you want to import and click Instant Sync.
Export Sale Orders
- Select the Sale Order you want to sync and click on Export to QuickBooks.
- Before applying the tax rate, ensure that the default tax rate in QuickBooks matches Odoo.
- QuickBooks allows only one tax rate per sale order.
Sync Purchase Orders
Select the Purchase Order you want to sync and click on Action -> Sync to QuickBooks.
Sync Invoices
Select the Invoices you want to sync and click on Action -> Sync to QuickBooks.
Sync Bills
Select the Bill you want to sync and click on Action -> Sync to QuickBooks.
Sync Credit Notes
Select the credit note you want to sync and click on Action -> Sync to QuickBooks.
Sync Payments
Select the payment you want to sync and click on Action -> Sync to QuickBooks.
Post Journal Entries
Click on "Post Journal Entries" button.
Posted Journal
The Journal Entry is now posted.
Post Payment
Now post the Payments by selecting the Payment and click on Action -> Post Payment.
Posted Payment
Payment is now posted.
Reconcile Journal Entry
Reconcile the Journal Entry with Payment by selecting the Journal Entry and then click "Action" -> Reconcile.
Reconciled Journal
Selected Journal Item is now reconciled and its payment status is visible.
Payment Reconciliation
To complete the Payment reconciling process select the payment and click "Action" -> Reconcile.
Fully Reconciled
Journal Entry is fully Reconciled.

Redirect URL is used to authenticate your app with QuickBooks using your Client ID and Client Secret.
