POS Total Quantity & Items Display
Overview
The enhancement to the Odoo Point of Sale (POS) module introduces Total Quantity and Total Items features within the Orderline and Order Receipt. This functionality aims to provide detailed summaries of transaction details, improving both operational efficiency and customer transparency.
Configuration of Show Total Item and Total Quantity
Enable "Show Total Items": Allows you to display the total number of unique items in transactions.
Enable "Show Total Quantity": Allows you to display the aggregate quantity of items in transactions.
Show Total Quantity and Total Items in the Orderlines
Total Quantity in Orderline: Displays the sum of all item quantities currently in the orderline, updating in real-time as items are added or removed.
Total Items in Orderline: Shows the total count of unique items in the orderline, reflecting any changes dynamically to ensure accuracy.
Show Total Quantity and Total Items in the Order Receipt
Total Quantity in Order Receipt: Summarizes the total quantity of items on the receipt, giving a comprehensive view of the purchased quantities.
Total Items in Order Receipt: Displays the total number of unique items purchased, enhancing the clarity of the receipt and ensuring a precise record of the transaction.
