Advanced Variant Price System
Manage complex product variant pricing with attribute-based extra prices, sequential coefficients, and product-specific pricing rules directly inside Odoo.
Control how each attribute affects the final sale price by changing attribute sequence, assigning multipliers, and applying variant surplus when needed.
Reflect the calculated price instantly on variants, the website, and sales quotations without changing your storefront design.
View DemoAdvanced variant pricing without custom code.
Configure coefficient-based price logic, reorder attribute sequence, and sync accurate totals across website and sales.
Key Features
Sequential Coefficient Pricing
Calculate variant prices step by step so each attribute can compound on the running total instead of only adding a flat extra.
Template-Level Variant Multipliers
Set coefficient percentages on attribute values and refine them per product template for more precise pricing control.
Attribute Sequence Control
Change the order of attributes to alter the final calculated amount when multiple percentage-based rules apply.
Unit Variant Surplus
Add an independent extra charge on a specific product variant after all attribute calculations are completed.
Website & Pricelist Sync
Show the correct calculated amount on the website and in quotations while staying compatible with Odoo pricelists.
Step 1: Create or Open a Product
This screen shows the product form where you create a product such as Watch and set its base sales price before applying variant pricing rules.
Step 2: Add Product Attributes and Values
In the Attributes & Variants tab, the product is linked with attributes such as Screen Size and Memory so variant pricing can be configured per value.
Step 3: Configure Screen Size Pricing
The Screen Size value is configured with both an Extra Price and a Coefficient %, showing how one attribute value can contribute fixed and percentage-based pricing.
Step 4: Configure Memory Pricing
This image shows the Memory value setup, where its own coefficient is defined so it can participate in the sequential calculation chain.
Step 5: Review the Calculated Variant Price
The generated product variant displays the computed Sales Price, confirming that the base price, extra price, and coefficient rules are being applied.
Step 6: Create Another Product Example
A second product named Bulb is created here to demonstrate how the pricing behavior changes under a different coefficient setup.
Step 7: Keep a Coefficient at Zero
This value configuration keeps the Coefficient % at 0, illustrating how an attribute can be included without increasing the price by percentage.
Step 8: Confirm Price Stays at the Base Value
Because the selected attribute uses a zero coefficient and no extra charge, the variant Sales Price remains equal to the product base price.
Step 9: Open Attribute Sequence Settings
From Configuration > Attributes, you can access the attribute list where sequence order is controlled for the pricing formula.
Step 10: Change the sequence of attributes from here
This attribute list show all attributes, and sequence of these can be changed from here.
Step 11: Keeping memory attribute above screen size
After moving Memory first, the product variant shows a new Sales Price, proving that sequence directly affects the final result.
Step 12: Price recalculated after change in sequencing
This change in attribute reflect change in calculation of price.
Step 13: Keeping Screen size attribute above Memory
With Screen Size processed first, the variant price changes again, highlighting the impact of compounding order on the final sales amount.
Step 14: Recalculation of pricing after sequence changed again
This variant screen demonstrates the calculated result when the pricing formula is driven only by attribute extra prices and coefficients.
Step 15: Add Unit Variant Surplus
The Unit Variant Surplus field is filled here, showing how an additional fixed amount can be added after the main sequential calculation.
Step 16: Set the Product Base Price to Zero
This product form uses a Sales Price of 0.00 to show that the module can build the full final price from attribute rules alone.
Step 17: View the Zero-Base Calculation Result
The resulting variant price is displayed here after calculating from attribute extra price and coefficient values even though the product base price is zero.
Step 18: Add More Attribute Values
Additional values are assigned to the attributes here, allowing more variant combinations and more pricing possibilities for the same product.
Step 19: See Dynamic Pricing on the Website
On the product page, the displayed amount changes according to the selected attribute combination, confirming live website price synchronization.
Step 20: Verify Pricelist Compatibility in Quotation
The quotation line reflects both the variant pricing logic and the selected pricelist, showing that discounts and pricing rules work together.

The module processes selected attribute values in sequence. Each step can add its own extra price and apply a coefficient percentage on the running amount, which produces a compounding final price.
Yes. The final amount depends on the order in which attributes are processed, so moving one attribute above another can change the result when coefficients are involved.
Yes. You can keep the product base price at zero and let attribute rules generate the amount, and you can also add a Unit Variant Surplus as a separate final extra charge.
Yes. The calculated price is reflected on the website product page, in backend variants, and on quotations, while remaining compatible with Odoo pricelists and related pricing rules.
