Odoo 16 Purchase Order Linkage Enhancement for Documents
This module extends the Odoo Documents module by adding custom fields to link Purchase Orders with documents. It enhances the functionality by displaying related purchase orders for each document, as well as providing a document count on Purchase Order records.

Open the Documents module from the dashboard > Select a document from the list > In the document details, you will see a field i.e Purchase.
Link the document to a specific Purchase Order by selecting the order from the drop-down.
Navigate to Purchase Module > There is now a button that shows the number of documents you have selected for the particular quotation.
On clicking the button, associated documents will show that you have selected.
The required Purchase Order can be found in the search view of the documents by searching the order reference.
Clicking the search purchase reference will display the associated documents.
Installation Instructions
- Download the Module
- Download the Allow PO Linkage On Documents module from the Odoo App Store.
- Save the downloaded module file (usually a .zip file) to your Odoo addons directory.
- Install the Module
- Log in to your Odoo system as an Administrator.
- Go to Apps > Update Apps List to refresh the list of available modules.
- In the Apps menu, search for "Allow PO Linkage On Documents.
- Click the Install button next to the module.

- If you don't see the module in the Apps list: Ensure that you have activated developer mode by going to
Settings -> Activate Developer Mode.
