AVOID PRODUCT DUPLICATION
In some businesses, such as Equipments selling or manufacturing businesses, it is important to restrict the duplication of the product name or internal reference / part number. By default, Odoo allows to create products with the name which already exists. Also it is the same for internal reference too. By default, Odoo raises an alert message when the user tries to create a product with already existing internal reference. But does not restrict it. The module helps for the restriction of the duplication of the product name or internal reference or both. The module supports to set the product unique.

CONFIGURE THE RESTRICTION
In Company , go to 'Settings' tab and choose the method of restriction. If only the product name duplication is to be restricted and the internal reference should not be restricted, check, 'Restrict Product Name Duplication'

In Company , go to 'Settings' tab and choose the method of restriction. If both the the name and internal reference duplication to be restricted check, 'Restrict Product Name Duplication' and 'Restrict Product Internal Reference Duplication'
