E-Commerce Country Based Restriction on Products Odoo Apps
E-Commerce Country Product Restrict Odoo app enables users to finely control the availability of products based on specific countries. This feature allows users to modify product access by configuring designated countries directly within the product setup. On the online shop customers are presented with a created list of countries during the checkout process. This list corresponds to the countries where the product can be shipped.
In instances where a selected product isn't available for a particular customer's country, the system intelligently displays customized messages. These messages effectively communicate the unavailability of the product in the customer's region, providing a transparent shopping experience. To further enhance this approach, the application secretly hides the payment button. So, customers are unable to proceed with the checkout process for products that are restricted in their country.
Customize Country List in Checkout Address
Only selected countries from website configuration should be shown in country dropdown list.
Display Customize Message
When product is not available in user's country, Customize message should be display.
Configuration for Countries
User can select countries for particular product and under website also select countries which will be appear in country selection of checkout address.
Invisible Payment Button
When product is not available in user's country, Payment button should be invisible so user can't checkout.
Countries Configuration on Product Form
On product form, When user enable 'Available in Particular Countries' checkbox then 'Countries Configuration' tab should be visible for that product.
Under 'Countries Configuration' tab, User can select countries where the product should be available.
Country Configuration on Website Form
On website form under 'Country Configuration' tab, User can select countries which will be appear in country selection of checkout address.
User can add custom messages by enabling cart message, checkout message and payment message.
Select Country in Checkout Address
User can see only selected countries from website configuration should be shown in country dropdown list.
Display Custom Message in the Shop Cart
When product is not available in user's country, Custom message should be display in the product cart line.
Display Custom Message in the Checkout Address
When product is not available in user's country, Custom message should be display in the checkout address.
Display Custom Message in the Payment
When product is not available in user's country, Custom message should be display in the payment and also invisible payment button.
Update Countries on Website Form
When product is available in user's country, Payment button should be visible.
