Import and Update Partner(Customer/Supplier/Vendor)from Excel or CSV Odoo Apps
Import and Update Partner odoo apps support for both version community as well as enterprise. This odoo apps helps to import and update partner from CSV and Excel file.
Import and Update Partner
User are allowed to import partner or update partner.
Errors or Warnings
Users can see errors if he/she tries to import wrong salesperson, category etc or wrong data file.

Given below is the sample of import file to upload partner,It is mandatory to use given format to create XLS or CSV file.
If you are using only numeric value for Internal ref or Barcode field then please make sure the cell type/format is Text/Character

Import Partner Menu
Figure shows the menu for importing data for create partner or update partner data.
Import Partner Wizard
In this wizard you have to upload properly formatted XLS or CSV file which you want to import for partner.
User can download sample file to import partner by clicking "CSV FILE or EXCEL FILE" button on wizard.
Created Partners View
Figure shows the partner created from given data file.
Update Partner Wizard
When you want to update partner data then select "Update Partner" data.
User can download sample file to update partner by clicking "CSV FILE or EXCEL FILE" button on wizard.
User have 2 option for bank details 1) Replace Bank Details and 2) Only Update Bank Details.

User can see the bank details should be replaced with existing one.
Update Partner Wizard
When you want to update partner data then select "Update Partner" data.
User can download sample file to update partner by clicking "CSV FILE or EXCEL FILE" button on wizard.
User have 2 option for bank details 1) Replace Bank Details and 2) Only Update Bank Details.
User can see only updated bank details.
Warnings
It will generate error if you select type as company and give parent,which is shown in figure.
It will generate error if you don't select salesperson as Administrator,which is shown in figure.
Installation Guide
Before installing this module you have to install following packages in your system.
1.sudo pip install xlrd
2.sudo pip install xlwt

1.sudo apt-get install python-xlrd
2.sudo apt-get install python-xlwt
