Automatic Invoice Booking Date
This module was written to automate booking date on invoice according to the services and/or deliveries.
Features
- check the timesheet entries and take the first and last timesheet dates
- check the related deliveries and take the first and last delivery dates
- if set, take the latest date from the last timesheet and/or delivery to be used as the booking date on the invoice,
- if set, generate a 'note' line on the invoice and put it on the last line on the invoice indicating for what period of time the services/deliveries have taken place.
Go to Settings / Invoicing (or Accounting), and down below, we have a section added for Automatic Booking Date & Extra Note Line.
You have three options to choose for auto-computing the booking date:
1. Service: this calculates the booking date based on the timesheet entries
2. Deliveries: this calculates the booking date based on the deliveries
3. Both: this calculates the booking date based on both timesheet entries and deliveries
You have three options to choose for adding a note on invoice:
1. Service Period: this adds the note based on the timesheet entries
2. Deliveries: this adds the note based on the deliveries
3. Both: this adds the note based on both timesheet entries and deliveries
In case any of the modules is not installed you will see a red message on either option.
To Use this module, you need to:
1. Select the wished option on the Settings / Invoicing (or Accounting):
2. Simply, create an invoice from a sale order, where there are some timesheet entries and/or deliveries. In case selected in the Settings, a note line will be added to the invoice based on the partner (invoice address) language.
