Manual Currency Exchange Rate on HR Expense module enhances flexibility and accuracy in employee expense management by allowing users to define and apply custom currency exchange rates directly within HR expenses. This feature is especially useful for businesses dealing with international travel or cross-border operations, where real-time or market exchange rates may not always reflect the actual conversion used. By enabling manual input of exchange rates, companies gain greater control over expense calculations, reimbursement processes, and accounting accuracy. It ensures transparency, aligns with company policies, and eliminates discrepancies caused by fluctuating exchange rates or external data sources.
Apply Manual Currency Exchange Rate on Expense
User can apply Manual Currency Exchange Rate on Expense according to Country.
Currency Amount in Journal Entry
Based on the invoices/bills related journal entries have selected exchange rate amount.
Normal Rate Configuration
Under Expenses > Configuration >Settings menu user have to enable "Normal Rate".
My Expenses Form View
User have to set the total and pricelist in my expenses view and click on to create report button.
Currency Exchange Rate in My Expenses
User can apply manual currency rate and click on submit to manager button.
User can see the applied manual currency rate shown in subtotal in currency and subtotal and click on approve button.
User can see the applied manual currency rate shown in subtotal in currency and subtotal and click on post journal entries button.
Currency Exchange Rate on Register Payment
User can see the applied manual currency rate shown in subtotal in currency and subtotal for my expenses.
