Partner Approval & Access Control
Partner Classification & Validation allows businesses to manage customer and vendor approvals efficiently within Odoo. This module introduces approval controls in the Contacts module, ensuring that only authorized users can approve partners as customers or vendors. Approved vendors will be visible in the Purchase module's vendor selection, and approved customers will appear in sales-related workflows. Additionally, a Partner Classification system is added under Contact Configuration, enabling structured categorization with an auto-generated reference sequence. Once classified, the reference field becomes read-only, ensuring data consistency. The module also includes import/export functionality and filtering options for enhanced partner management.
Approval Access Rights
User can give an access right for customer and vendor approval.
Enable/Disable Customer and Vendor
User can enable/disable customer and vendor, Only enabled customer and vendor are visible in sales and purchase drop down.
Partner Classification Configuration
Configure partner classification by selecting internal ref. sequence and release it.
Auto Generate Reference
User can select partner classification and based on that generate reference.
Approval Access Rights
Under user configuration, Give an access for "Approve Vendor" and "Approve Customer" to approve customer and vendor.
Approve Customer
Under contacts, User can approve or enable customer.
User can use only approved customer in sales.
Approve Vendor
Under contacts, User can approve or enable vendor.
User can use only approved vendor in purchase.
Partner Classification Configuration
Goto Contacts -> Configuration -> Partner Classification menu in that view the list of created partner classification.
User can create partner classification by selecting internal ref. sequence and release or active it.
Set Partner Classification
In contacts, User can select partner classification and based on that reference will be generated.
Reference Generated
Warning or Validation
If user tries to approve the customer and don't have an access, Raised warning.
