Three steps to instant clarity
Enable & Configure Cash Rounding
Go to Settings, enable Cash Rounding under Sales (and Invoicing if needed), then create a rounding method with precision, strategy, and accounts. This defines how amounts are rounded (e.g., to the nearest whole number).
Add Products & View Round-Off on Sale Order
Create a quotation or sale order and add products with decimal prices. Select the Cash Rounding Method on the order. The module automatically calculates and shows the Round-Off value, and updates the Total to the rounded amount.
Confirm & Invoice with Automatic Rounding
Confirm the sale order and create the invoice. The selected rounding method is carried to the invoice, where a rounding line (e.g., “round off 1”) is added automatically and the invoice total reflects the rounded amount.

Auto Round Off brings smart, automatic cash rounding to Odoo Sales. Configure once, apply on every order, and let the system handle decimal adjustments from quotation through invoice—with a clean, user-friendly experience.
User-Friendly Interface
Cash rounding is enabled from Sales settings with a single checkbox. The round-off amount appears directly on the sale order form, so users always see the adjustment before confirming the order.
Reduces Human Effort
No manual calculation is needed. The module automatically computes the round-off difference based on the order total and selected rounding method, and applies it to both sale orders and invoices.
Multi-Language Support
The module supports multiple languages including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), German, Spanish, and French, making it suitable for global teams and customers.
Automatic Price Round-Off
When product prices contain decimals (e.g., $100.30), the module rounds the total (e.g., to $100.00) and displays the round-off value (e.g., -$0.30) clearly in the order totals section.
Invoice Rounding Propagation
When invoicing a sale order, the rounding method is passed to the invoice. A dedicated rounding line is created and the invoice total matches the rounded sale order total.
Flexible Rounding Rules
Use Odoo’s standard Cash Roundings setup to define rounding precision, strategy (add a rounding line or adjust largest tax), rounding method (e.g., HALF-UP), and profit/loss accounts.
Controlled Access
Only users in the Allow the cash rounding management in sale group can manage rounding on sale orders, keeping configuration secure and role-based.

Enable Cash Rounding in Settings
Open Settings and search for “round”. Under Sales and Invoicing, enable the Cash Rounding checkbox. Use the Cash Roundings link to manage rounding rules.
Create a Cash Rounding Method
Go to Settings → Cash Roundings → New. Define the rounding name (e.g., “round off 1”), precision (e.g., 1), strategy (Add a rounding line), profit/loss accounts, and rounding method (HALF-UP). Save the configuration.
View Round-Off on Sale Order
Create a quotation and add a product with a decimal price (e.g., Pedal Bin at $100.30). With the cash rounding method selected, the Round-Off field shows -0.30 and the Total becomes $100.00 automatically.
Round-Off Applied on Customer Invoice
Confirm the sale order and create the invoice. The draft invoice includes a round off 1 line with the adjustment amount (e.g., -$0.30), and the invoice Total shows the rounded amount of $100.00.
