Quality Check — For MRP Operations
Manage manufacturing quality inspections directly inside MRP Work Orders with configurable quality checkpoints, inspector access control, QC status tracking, and detailed quality logs.
About the Module
The Quality Check for MRP Operations module helps manufacturing companies maintain product quality throughout production operations in Odoo. It allows you to configure inspection parameters for each manufacturing operation, assign quality inspectors, perform QC validation during production, and maintain complete quality check history with detailed logs.
Key Features
Operation Based Quality Checks: Enable quality inspections individually for manufacturing operations.
Inspection Parameters: Configure multiple quality inspection points for each work order operation.
Inspector Access Rights: Control user access using dedicated Quality Inspector permissions.
Real-Time QC Status: Automatically update work orders with QC waiting, progress, and completed states.
Pass / Fail Validation: Inspectors can validate each inspection parameter individually.
Complete QC Logs: Maintain detailed quality check history and inspection logs for traceability.
How It Works
Enable User Access Rights
Enable Quality Parameter Enable and assign the Quality Inspector role to authorized users from access rights.
Enable Quality Points in Operations
Open Manufacturing Operations and enable the Quality Points option to activate quality inspection for the selected operation.
Configure Inspection Parameters
Add multiple inspection parameters under the Quality Check Points tab such as diameter, taper, visual inspection, coating validation, and more.
Quality Check Trigger During Production
When the operation reaches the configured quality checkpoint, the system automatically prompts the user to start the quality inspection.
Automatic QC Creation
Once the quality check process starts, the work order status changes to Waiting for QC and a quality check document is created automatically.
Access Quality Check from Manufacturing Order
Manufacturing Orders display the number of generated quality checks, allowing users to open and manage inspections directly.

Perform Quality Inspection
Inspectors can validate every inspection parameter with Pass or Fail results and add remarks for each quality point.
Quality Check Management
View and manage all generated quality checks from the dedicated Quality Check menu with operation-wise tracking.
Detailed Quality Check Logs
Track every inspection parameter result, QC status, remarks, work order details, and manufacturing references from the Quality Check Log screen.
