MRP Workorder Hard Block
Enforce sequential workorder execution inside Manufacturing Orders — when Hard Block is enabled on a Workcenter, no workorder can start until all preceding ones are fully completed.
Everything you need to enforce workorder sequence
Simple configuration on the Workcenter, powerful enforcement inside the Manufacturing Order — all native to Odoo, no extra infrastructure needed.
Hard Block Flag on Workcenter
Enable the Hard Block flag directly on any Workcenter. Once activated, every workorder assigned to that workcenter inside any Manufacturing Order will be subject to strict sequential enforcement — no extra setup required.
Sequential Workorder Enforcement
When Hard Block is active, a workorder cannot be started unless all preceding workorders (by sequence) in the same Manufacturing Order are fully completed. The system checks the entire sequence chain before allowing any state transition.
Clear Block Validation Message
When a user attempts to start a blocked workorder, the system raises a clear, descriptive validation error — listing which preceding workorders are still incomplete, so operators know exactly what needs to be done first.
