Overview
The Fleet Fuel Management Extension adds advanced fuel tracking capabilities to Odoo’s Fleet module, enabling businesses to monitor fuel usage across all vehicles. It provides a clear and accurate view of how much fuel is being filled, when, and by whom. Helping fleet managers maintain control over fuel consumption.
For companies that operate their own fuel stations, the extension supports internal fueling workflows. It allows users to record fuel quantities received and dispensed, track tank capacity, and view the history of all fuel movements. This ensures transparency and makes it easy to reconcile fuel usage with tank stock levels over time.
The system also keeps a detailed log of every time a vehicle is refueled, making it easy to trace fuel usage across the fleet. Maintenance activities related to fuel storage, such as tank cleaning, can also be recorded to support operational hygiene and compliance. With these features, the module helps improve accountability, optimize fuel efficiency, and streamline fuel-related operations within the business.

Odoo BigQuery Connector
- Navigate to Fuel Management Fleet → Configuration → Fuel Management
- There you can find menus for Fuel Type, Fuel Type, Fuel Vehicle Logs.
- Navigate to Configuration → Fuel Management → Fuel Types
- By clicking that menu you will be redirected to the page for fuel types.
- Click "New" (as highlighted) to create a new fuel type.
- Navigate to: Configuration → Fuel Management → Fuel Tank
- Clicking Add Fuel opens a popup form where you enter fuel quantity and price per litre to update the tank’s fuel stock.
- After clicking the Apply button, the fuel quantity is added to the tank’s available stock and the entry is logged in the fuel history for tracking.
- Click the Clean button to log a cleaning event for the fuel tank.
- Enter the cleaner’s name and cleaning date, then click Save to create a cleaning history record and update the latest cleaning date in the tank details.
- Click the Add Fuel to Vehicle button to allocate fuel directly from the tank to a specific vehicle.
- In the popup, enter the vehicle, fuel quantity, price and date, then click Apply to create a fuel vehicle log and update the vehicle’s fuel history.
- Click the Print Report to generate a comprehensive PDF including all the fuel transactions, vehicle fuel logs, and cleaning history for the fuel tank.
- Navigate to: Configuration → Fuel Management → Fuel Vehicle History
- Access the Fuel Vehicle History menu to view detailed records of fuel consumption and refueling events for all vehicles in the fleet.
- This vehicle’s form view displays all its fuel transactions, with each refueling event automatically added to its fuel transaction history.

- Fuel Management helps track and manage fuel types, fuel tanks, and fuel usage history for vehicles in your fleet.
- Go to Configuration → Fuel Management → Fuel Types, then click New. Enter the name of the fuel type
- Fuel consumption is recorded in the Fuel Vehicle History, showing how much fuel each vehicle uses over time.
- The system updates available fuel stock and creates corresponding history records for tracking and auditing.
