When your developer or admin needs a field's technical name mid-task, they currently open Inspect Element, navigate to Settings > Technical > Fields, or switch to a second tab. Each lookup costs two to five minutes. Across a week of Odoo configuration work, that time compounds quickly.

This add-on puts a small, unobtrusive badge directly beside each field label on every form view. When developer mode is on, your team sees the exact technical name — partner_id, x_studio_ref, whatever it is — the moment their eyes land on the field. When developer mode is off, your end users see nothing different. The badge does not appear in print views or portal pages.

There is no configuration. No per-module activation. Enable developer mode and every standard and custom field on every form in your Odoo instance shows its technical name inline. That includes modules you built yourself.
