Overview

With this app ,we can get the edit button functionality in odoo 16, which enhance the user experience by enabling the edit button for the forms.

Features

Community & Enterprise Support.
Set the form readonly when rendering the form.
Available in Odoo 16.0 Community and Enterprise.
When click the edit button form will change to edit mode.

Hello

After clicking the save button, if the form contains a validation error, 2 validation errors are displayed on the display. Could you check this?

Form doesn't change back to read-only mode

In the latest version (16.0.1.0.3) after editing and saving/discarding the changes, the form doesn't switch back to read-only mode. It keeps in edit mode unless I leave the page.

I've downloaded the latest version (16.0.1.0.2) but still have an issue in "Edit my profile". can you fix this?

Kanban in reconcile blocked too

Hi, there is an issue with new odoo 16 accounting, when you are going to reconcile invoices the kanban view is blocked by this module.

Cannot edit Knowledge articles

- When I enable the edit mode and then leave the page without either saving or discarding (meaning the edit mode is still active) and then get back to the editable page and save or discard, the Edit button disappears.

- When the edit mode is disabled on the product template form, there is no space between the currency in the cost price field and the word "per Units", so it looks like "40 QRper Units".

- Is it possible that you show a confirmation message when any field has changes before leaving the page to prevent any unintended changes as Odoo 16 auto-saves the changes?

Edit my profile issue solved but no edit button

Hello.

I've installed the latest version of the module. The "Edit my profile" issue is now solved but there is no edit button anymore.

The form is always on edit mode and so, the button Edit is never shown.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a huge step back, making this module quite useless.

Someone reported this issue. I've downloaded the latest version (16.0.1.0.0) and the issue persists. The edit button is not available when I click my profile.
