Prerequisites
Setting up boto3 on AWS : Please refer to the « boto3_on_aws_configuration.pdf » document in the description folder of this module
Install Boto3 using the following command :pip3 install boto3
Or add boto3 to the requirements.txt file: :boto3
Add boto3 access keys in General Settings
To configure Boto3 on Odoo, fill in the following details under the "Boto3 Configuration" section: the region value in « Region Name », the value of your AWS access key in « Id aws access key », and the value of the AWS access key token in « aws access key token ».
Notice: This information you will need to have when you were configuring Boto3 on AWS. Hence the need to fulfill prerequisite 1.
Notice: If the contact language is not defined, then the email will be in the default language.
Product level configuration
You can create and configure your product via the « Articles » menu of the Emailing multiple languages module. To do this, you first need to fill in the mandatory information on the « General information » tab as shown in the figure above. Secondly, you just need to click on the “eCommerce” tab to add your additional images as shown in the image below.
Once click on the "eCommerce" tab, please click on the "Add" button. A window will appear allowing you to add your additional images.
Notice : You can only add up to 4 additional images.
Create a mailing from a contact list
You can create a mail merge from the contact card. To do this, simply select your contacts then click on Email Marketing As shown in the picture below.
Notice : For the chosen contacts, please make sure that the language has been correctly entered on their file.
Generation of a product for mailing
To create a mailing, simply click on the « mailings » menu then create your mailing.
